Our Centennial Year in 2008 was an amazing time for all of us at KYC. Then Commodore, Janet Buggle, and the Officers, Trustees and Committees, pulled out all the stops to create a series of memorable events and keepsakes.

Pictured below are the “Centennial Book” and “Living History” DVD. These were produced under the direction of the commodore and Centennial Committee Chair Tony Quinn with the committee members’ tireless efforts and the invaluable help of club historian, Ann Quinn. Copies are still available from the Club’s Ship Store.

In 2008, our 100th Birthday, we recorded a number of "Living History" videos of members who recounted some key moments in KYC history. These priceless recordings were donated to the Club by Pat Corbitt, Trustee, Meg Corbitt & Matt Perry, now Young Members, and Steve Gronka, an independent cameraman and sailing enthusiast. Thanks to all of them for these memories.
