What is a PURSUIT race?
All our races are handicapped – everyone has their own boat, and a handicap evens out the difference between faster and slower boats.
Normally, we start everyone at the same time, and apply the handicap after. So we may not know who won until all boats have finished.
In a PURSUIT race, the slower boats get a head start – and the winner is the boat that finishes first. (and in theory, most boats should finish at about the same time)
If you don’t have a current handicap – don’t worry – the Race Committee will assign you one for the event
