3-4 Guys are planning an August 4-5 trip up to Long Island Sound and back just for the heck of it.

We'll be aboard a cruising boat travelling 5-6 knots.

Anyone wishing to follow along in their boat or meet up, is welcomed.

Maybe, we'll go to Great Kills on early Friday evening, not sure.

Will leave from Great Kills or KYC on Saturday morning around 6am with plans to go straight through to Oyster Bay, if winds are favorable.

Otherwise, we'll settle for somewhere closer like Port Washington, Sea Cliff, or thereabouts.

Plans to return to KYC by Sunday evening.

Tides are favorable for early ride up to the sound and an afternoon ride back on Sunday.

Whole trip very weather dependent.
