The Learn to Sail program at Keyport Yacht Club is three (3) consecutive Saturday instruction sessions involving classroom and on the water participation. The classes are conducted by certified instructors from 9AM to 1PM each day. The cost is $150 per person which includes text and class materials which the student should pick up at the club before beginning the class after registration is confirmed. Classes have limited availability and early registration is highly recommended.

Adult Sailing Program at Keyport Yacht Club

Saturday July 21, the club had its first group complete the adult sailing program .  Classes ran for three Saturday s from 9 AM to 1 PM where members and non-members learned to sail the club’s 17 foot O’Days.  The 12 hour program covered basic sailing points, knots used and hours sailing with instructors on the O’Days.  Two of our new members, who have not sailed before found the program very helpful and are looking forward to using the club boats during this season and future seasons.

The program’s success has allowed us to offer the Basic Sailing Program once again for August.  View the information on our web site, Sailing Experience for more details about the classes. Certificates were awarded to club member, Jean Chudzik, member William Chudzik, member Manda Di Rubbo and non-member Louise Ulrich.
