KYC Member Eric Feigel has suggested that we enhance our Member Spolight by presenting, in their own words, how or why a boat owner named their boat.
Eric has told me about a serious racing sailor who has named all of his boats AFRICA. Since there is no obvious connection to Africa, he was asked why? Simple, he said, "Another Freaking Raceboat I Can't Afford -AFRICA".
